MBA in Germany Eligibility

All students need to satisfy a few eligibility criteria to study MBA in any university in Germany. Though there can be a few differences in these criteria based on the university and specialisation you choose, there are several requirements that remain the same for almost all universities. We have given them below. However, it is also advisable to visit the official website of the university so that you get updated information on everything.

  1. A Bachelor’s degree from a recognised university with an acceptable score of at least 60%.
  2. A GMAT score between 500 and 600 or a GRE score of around 280.
  3. A good score in any English proficiency test like IELTS, TOEFL, PTE etc.
  4. A 2-5 years of work experience may be asked for by some universities.
  5. Some universities may also conduct entrance exams.

You need to submit a few documents while applying for admission to MBA programs in Germany. Though there can be a few changes in the documents asked for by universities, there are a few that most universities ask for. They are given below.

Post Study Work Permit

The post-study work visa guidelines in Germany allow international students to work in the country after the completion of their studies. As part of this visa, students can stay back in Germany and work for unlimited hours for a period of 18 months. Blocked Account for German Student Visa

All international students should have a blocked account and a minimum balance in it when they come to Germany. The blocked account should ideally have EUR 11,280 or INR 9,00,000 for the first year of study. Students can withdraw upto EUR 934 or INR 75,000 per month. Additionally, you can spend more depending on how much you earn. You can work part-time in Germany to earn an additional income.
